Hello all (if there be any)! Welcome to 2013!
The reason I am posting right now is because I feel inspired! This post is spontaneous but I feel inspired to start living life to the fullest and live my dream!
Last night I saw the movie "Here Comes The Boom" with Kevin James. Without ruining it for anyone, a high school biology teacher (James) starts UFC fighting to save another teacher's job (you find this all out in the trailer). He stretches himself and pushes himself to do things he never even considered doing. There were times when it seemed like the whole thing was a complete failure and all was hopeless. But in those times it still inspired many people.
So for me, my passion is music. Right now my life doesn't have room for music. I work full time and go to school. I'm lucky to get enough sleep to function. I'm always tired and I never have time to do what I want to do. Well, no more will I have that attitude! I want to make it my goal for 2013 to record a single and make a music video with it. Now because I have limited skills I will start with a cover song. I don't know which one yet. But I will make it my goal to do something creative everyday. I have all the equipment to record music and to shoot a music video. The only thing that is stopping me is time and I think most importantly my attitude. I only have a few months left of school.
This long term goal of mine will be something I can use as a creative outlet. I have been holding back on my passion for music for long enough. Maybe I was lazy, maybe scared. This is a time to live and not be afraid of people, rejection or criticism. It's time to be free!
